swome

Two nights ago I had a dream that I received a letter from Northeastern that my accounts were in "BAD" standing, and I could not graduate. When I looked into what was "bad", I discovered that NEU was disgusted with all of the miles I'd traveled back and forth from home to school, and all the greenhouse gasses I'd emitted. I decided it didn't matter, because I was only there to complete a minor anyway, and I had enough credit to graduate. I drove to the ceremony with Melissa and said hello to all my adoring fans, then looked for Jimmy in the crowd so I could find my alphabetical seat.

Last night was a sort of an in-and-out of body dream - I was reading Swimming Sweet Arrow, which is a real book,  but the things in the dream were most definitely not in the actual book - and there was a large, large family looking for a new place to live. They find what appears to be a one bedroom house - like, a bedroom, with a bathroom, that would never ever fit a family, and also didn't make any sense because there were no kitchen appliances. They opened a second door to ANOTHER bathroom, and through it on the other side was a door to the kitchen (I remember saying in the dream - oh they must have put this bathroom in themselves). The kitchen was small and all the tiles were silver and shiny, but the family decided this was the place. It was on a dock in the ocean (which man, was so clear and blue! I'd have lived there), and everyone started cleaning it up. David came in and asked for masking tape which I assumed was so he could play Edward Forty-hands (is that what it's called?) but then he turned into Lienne who was using her masking taped hand to snorkel and clean all of the algae off the boat that came with the house. Zoom out of the scene to the characters in Swimming Sweet Arrow complaining that they'd all had to chip in for the house, but in the end it was worth it.
